Hi Loves!
I'm sitting here staring out the window at a beautiful spring day, and thought I'd post a few quick pics of what's inspiring me today. I've been resetting my sanity with some serious garden time recently. I adore spring! The smells, the colors, the breezes... it's so wonderful to be coming out of hibernation and watching everything start to sprout and bloom!
I keep cutting blooms from my garden for the house. It's amazing how a few flowers can make every day feel festive.
My big passion right now is my new little painting studio in our potting shed. I cleared out the shed a few weeks ago to start potting, and never ended up using it this season. So last night, in a fit of inspiration, I decided to turn it into a creative space for myself. Thanks to the brilliance of my husband, who insisted on wiring it for lights when he built it 16 years ago, I can sit and paint day or night. So here's a peek at my new little sanctuary. I can get lost in colors all morning and feel miles away from everything... even though I'm only a few feet from the driveway!
My painting and my gardening are inspiration for my jewelry designs, so mornings like this mean that more new designs will be sprouting this Spring & Summer. I'm excited for the upcoming shows so that I can catch up with you in person and see what you think of my new goodies!
